AFAM X-BAR handlebar is the most solid compared to his competitors, which are mostly made of 4 mm. The X-BAR is made of special 7075T6 alloy with 5 mm tube thickness. The outside bore is 22.17 mm with an inside of 13.38 mm.
The extremes of this handlebar are drilled out at 14 mm to make the fitting of accessories possible. All XBAR handlebars have a 100mm knurling on the left end of the pilot, which is used to grasp the rubber grip. The final shape of the handlebar is CNC machined. Both colors available, black and silver are achieved by shiny anodizing.
The graduations are laser-etched on the handlebar, so the pilot can center and adjust according to his personal preferences. At both ends marks are laser-etched to be able to adjust the length of the handlebar as needed.
An aluminum reinforcement bar of 13mm diameter put together by screws with brake net and nut and fitted with patented AFAM casted clamps. The clamps are glued to the bar. A contribution of special glue for aluminum contact is inserted between the inside of the clamp and the surface of the handlebar before tightening to improve the fixing and the tenacity in the time while reducing the risk of aluminum lesion.
A safety AFAM slipcover is included.
